dancers all !

edited for thoughts;

= WHY….. why post this… why share…. why do we do what we do?

My thoughts during dinner were to share in these dark days of strife and grief. If I only make one person smile, make another hear the beauty that is Humans at our best then I have done what I want to carry out. If but two people see the similarities in each of us, does that not draw in each of our hearts and thoughts together?

When we focus on the similarities, the sameness of each other vs. the differences, we find that there is really no difference from anyone, anywhere around this blue globe of ours.

Share a thought, share and image, share an emotion, share a feeling of wonder and beauty for let us celebrate what is good in all of us, what is similar and treasured.

Go walk in the light away from the shadows away from the grief,
cheers wild_E

Autistic girl, speaks computer

(written to a friend ps.. I am turning my email into a blog post so don’t be upset with me about it, please!!!)
 4a1bb
what a great video and now I understand more about this.
… i know i see what others do not, i can zoom in on objects seeing and seeking where others see just the scene before them or see only wild things or weeks. i see the droplets of dew on the green leaves, i hear the sound of individual insects buzzing near me or can zoom in to hear those close to a particular flower even if it is ten feet away.

people, seem overwhelming to me in groups unless they are in military groups for there is some semblance of order there. malls or large gatherings bother me and i feel emotionally drained, tiring easily.

me, i am different from most, this girl is similar but different from me in that she has sensory input hundreds of times more acute than i do.
me, i see the world differently but how differently does she see the world from me, buzzing, humming, covering her ears, taking hundreds of pictures of people’s faces.
me, i see multiple images of people at the same time, not hundreds or thousands
me, i see autistic and autism much better now
me, i thank you Carly for letting me and others learn from you!

p.s. written this way on purpose fo that others see the small i, a person in a crowd instead of the bigger I that they are used to seeing in sentences or in other writings.
if you see i, perhaps you might see me.

Lets Get Married

full rights go to this site – re-blogging
http://dailynewsdig.com/how-do-you-decide-who-to-marry-written-by-kids/

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY?
(written by kids)

A group of young kids were asked how to decide who to marry and here are the results which are pretty amusing.

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY?

(1) You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming.
– Alan, age 10

(2) No person really decides before they grow up who they’re going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you’re stuck with.
– Kristen, age 10

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?

(1) Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.
– Camille, age 10

(2) No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married.
– Freddie, age 6 (very wise for his age)

HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?

(1) You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.
– Derrick, age 8

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?

(1) Both don’t want any more kids.
– Lori, age 8

WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?

(1) Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.
– Lynnette, age 8 (isn’t she a treasure)

(2) On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that Usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date.
– Martin, age 10

WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?

(1) I’d run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns.
-Craig, age 9

WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?

(1) When they’re rich.
– Pam, age 7

(2) The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn’t want to mess with that.
– Curt, age 7

(3) The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It’s the right thing to do.
– Howard, age 8

IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?

(1) I don’t know which is better, but I’ll tell you one thing. I’m never going to have sex with my wife. I don’t want to be all grossed out.
– Theodore, age 8

(2) It’s better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.
– Anita, age 9 (bless you child)

HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN’T GET MARRIED?

(1) There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn’t there?
– Kelvin, age 8

And the #1 Favorite is……..

HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?
(1) Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck.
– Ricky, age 10

To those who are pissed at us….

So you have Cancer
so you create a blog, write a book, look to the humour in all things, positives in things, great Then people get all pissy at the title, rude comments, make you feel bad!

So if this sounds like something you would like, be against or for (depending on the way you just read what I wrote) then go, follow the link to these Sisters in blogs and books and give support to them. Why, because some numpties with small minds and political correctness orientated ways are slamming these ladies for sharing their story and making is helpful and fun !
Bollocks I say.. Bullocks, think for yourself, go and see as well as read, most importantly read between the words and Think for yourself ! Challenging, I know !

The Savvy Sister

Some don’t like their cancer sprinkled with perks.

In April 2012, Florence Strang (cancer warrior) asked me to write a book with her.  We didn’t know each other (at all) but the fact that we are both healthcare professionals led us to suspect that we shared the same mission statement :

Help others live a better life after a cancer diagnosis.

So even though we lived in two different countries, we started writing.  Flo wrote the 100 Perks of Having Cancer and I wrote the 100 Health Tips for Surviving It.  We sent out our manuscript and landed a publishing contract with a company out of California.

Fast forward 1 year and 3 months, and here we are getting ready to launch the book in Nashville at the Women’s Cancer Survivor’s Convention.  But even though the book is not available yet, some have voiced their distain.

The Madness of Self-Doubt: A Guest Blog Post by Mariah Wilson

Amber Skye Forbes

tumblr_mmvohvsRXb1rnvzfwo1_500This afternoon will be a blog post by Mariah Wilson on facing self-doubt as a writer. You can find her blog here.

Onward!

If you’re a writer then you know what the biggest obstacle to being a writer is. It’s not writer’s block, it’s not the critics, it’s not even the people who tell you that your dream isn’t worth dreaming. It’s the little voice inside your head that comes alive to fan all of your insecurities. It’s the little voice known as self-doubt.

Self doubt kills careers before they start. Self doubt stops novels and poems halfway through and they sit in the pile labeled “I’m not good enough” and as that pile grows, so does self doubt. See, he’s a greedy little voice and he likes to feed himself, and he’ll devour you if you’re not careful. Here’s what I do when my own self doubt gets out…

Emotion by Inspiration

Howdy again folks,
…………….. How are you all today, EH

Today I would like to thank you all for following this little adventure in blogging. In the last couple of weeks I have had more compliments in my writing and photography than in the last few years put together, for that I thank you very much.

Reach for your Dreams and Goals – Part of my Barnyard Textures series

With new compliments, new followers, new sites to visit I have found myself refreshed and recharged in a creative way. Again thank you all so much for that, this has lifted my spirits and creativity to new heights. Yesterday I was also nominated for an Award, that was out of the blue and quite pleasantly inspiring in its own way, thank you to the very nice person who did that by the way!

This morning I made a decision, to feature an inspirational Blog follower at least once a week, quite possibly twice a week. The only similarity is that the blog will inspire me in a way that makes me smile, lifts my spirits, makes me stop and think or well brings a tear to my eye.

Yesterday I Re-Blogged the story of the Two fellows in India  who teach children for free. That is very inspiring in a humanitarian way and gives my thoughts of Humanity and Humans in general a lift upwards.  With that in mind I am sharing here this image I created as part of the Barnyard Textures photo shoot, it was held back for a special occasion  so here it is to share today with everyone. I hope you enjoy “Reach” as much as I do !

This blog that is featured today is Inspirational in its creativity in a medium that I have no talent in at all. Painting, drawing, sketching no talent unless it is to colour between the lines, I do seem to have a little talent with Writing and Photography, so I will continue to share them with myself and my readers. My journey continues in new found ways, as well as ways of old so the posts on Wilderness Adventures  Bushcraft, Survivalism and Modifications will continue as well.

Ray Ferrer Emotion on Canvas

Pleased to offer up Ray Ferrer – Emotion on Canvas
http://urbanwallart.wordpress.com/  His Facebook page link is here.

His site is quite unique, as evidenced by this stunning image to the left. All I can picture in my mind is a smoky dimly lit room, all I can hear in my mind is the Soulful sounds that are reverberating off the walls filling my spirit and mind alike.

You just know I will be listening to some Jazz and Blues later don’t y’all eh !

Take care now and enjoy the imagery of that this creative fellow has to offer.
