North Korea’s Missile distance chart

North Korea’s Missile distance chart
http://edition.cnn.com/interactive/2013/04/world/north-korea-missile-capabilities/

click on the Tabs to see the ranges of the missiles. One or two detonated in the upper atmosphere would create EMP scenarios that could disrupt your electronics.

North Korean Missile Ranges

Here is a link that shows the threats and hints at war. I do believe they will not start a conventional war though, but will propagate a sneaky pete kind of war. They do have 1 million people in their army, so numbers alone could overrun the US and South Korean forces  if massed and flung all at once.

Even though there was no verbal anti-American rhetoric, the visual messages were clear.

On the front of every tank a special message has been painted in Korean. It said “let us annihilate U.S. aggressors, blood enemy of the Korean people.” And one of the floats showed an American flag crumpled beneath a model of a Korean tank.

Too bad they can not spend money on infrastructure so that they can feed the non military people of their country as well.

The Country in Pictures

The following article is a very well balanced and thought provoking Imagery based assessment of the country.  This article is very photo heavy and shows the Military, People and Country of North Korea very well.

I feel therefore I am

The old adage, I think therefore I am!

Why do Humans think that they are the only ones who think, that they are the only ones who are self-aware? My Dog loves, my dog thinks, my dog can have her feelings hurt, she loves to give hugs and kisses, just like Human kids do.

Fur Kids have souls/spirits the same as people do !

135cWhy else would she bring her little baby toy out to greet people she likes and loves, to share and to say I like you and trust you. Sounds very Humane if you ask me!

nothing more needs to be said about this one

I love

I love driving early in the morning before the masses head out in their cars.

I love soft golden hue of the morning light, lightly touching the freshly dew’ed up long grasses and bulrushes.

I love the soft golden light as it plays along the freshly mowed hay, light dancing in and around the swells in the fields, the rolls and bales awaiting passage to the farm.

I love the smell of freshly mowed hay in the morning.

I love the sight of golden kissed ripples gently roll across the pond, or the still reflection of the still waters show the glory of the heavens above,

for all who venture forth early and are lucky enough to view the new day before the earth heats up and the sun passes that mystical line, from golden to yellow.

and

I love you for following along with my blog, taking time from your day to read this adventure as it unfolds!
Thank you

Writing just got easier

So you’re wondering now aren’t you? (to the rednecks.. ain’t ya ! )

I live off grid, power is always an issue, 12 v chargers etc. The laptop I use only has about 2.25 hrs on the battery and that is on a good day.  Recently I started looking for another DVD player, since mine seems to be on its last legs so looking began. Then I thought what about a good Tablet or Netbook.

Well I dropped into a computer store yesterday since I know the owners, was just saying HEY Hows it going. Then one thing led to another, now I am the owner of a fairly new Aspire One Netbook. The batter shows, 6.5 hrs time on it with a full charge, my laptop shows 2.25 hrs. So now I will be able to go sit somewhere other than my Van when I want to write in one of my stories, or even watch a movie in it and have time and power to spare.

Programs to add in will be OpenOffice and one or two little programs as well as my writing folders that way there it is accessible as well as yet another backup in case of folder corruption, which has already happened to me on my 3 book series, grrrrrrrr.  So slap the info over on USB sticks, download from a free WiFi source or use the new, USB external DVD Player/Recorder which he sold to me for $55 instead of $75

So for the accountant types out there, good DVD player 9″ screen running $75 and up
This full mini laptop the netbook only $50 plus the external backup DVD player/creator, I have a much better system now.

Cheers and chat soon!
post your techno gadgets you have that save you time, or make your life easier if you want too!

Saw a Ghost today in the store

Today I saw a ghost from my past walking in a grocery store. I stopped looking at her, no not another realm dweller, just someone who reminded me very much of a long-lost friend who was murdered by her brother, back when I was in the military.

I do believe in reincarnation so I wonder at times when I see someone. This girl got a little freaked out, but you can’t just go up to someone and say, I am looking at you but seeing a long dead girl who had a sweet heart, lovely demeanor and just an all around nice person, who was murdered by her brother. Not a great thing to say to a teenager at all.

So, I walked away in quiet contemplation, thinking yet again, dwelling in the past, re-living my glory days or days gone by. Wondering for the millionth time, that if I had dropped by to take her out that night, would she be alive today or just dead another day? Sadly her Father lost two children that day, one by the rifle the other by Schizophrenia induced hallucinations or delusions.

Her name was Paula, in Winnipeg Manitoba and one of the nice things was that when I went by driving long haul, I would often stop and say hi, or pause by the cemetery, get out and say hi there, thinking of you nice person.

Cherish the people who make a difference in your lives, the ones that smile with their eyes as well as their mouth, these are the people who matter in your life the most.

You are not forgotten ! I hope your Father found some peace, eventually?
